GVG is a collection of like-minded individuals who want to see a better Guildford. Key figures meet as a steering group twice a month. Most of the steering group members have very relevant business, planning and development credentials. All are volunteers and passionate about improving our town.

Co-founder and chair of Guildford Vision Group. Until he retired had senior posts at Savills including Head of Central London and International Investment, and Head of Strategic Investment. John served as a Guildford Borough councillor 2019-2023 and as Executive Lead for Regeneration

Retired banker and consultant. Former chair of The Guildford Society, Abbot’s Hospital & Guildford Vision Group. Former vice chair, Guildford College Group. Trustee, Shalford Village Hall

Rt Hon Anne Milton
Anne served as Minister of State for Skills and Apprenticeships from 2017 to 2019. She was Member of Parliament for Guildford from 2005 to 2019.
